Victoria Square Belfast

Rigging Ireland have supplied riggers for various installations at Victoria Square since 2008. Every November we undertake the building of the 18 metre high tree at the main entrance. This is made up of 18 sections built on 3 tiers and weighs over 3 tonne. We also take care of all the high level decorations hung from the roof structure around the shopping mall. This culminates in our abseiling Santa descending from the gantry to put the star on top of the tree during the big switch on celebrations.

Throughout the year we're also brought in for other projects which often involves craning vehicles down to the basement level for Mercedes and Toyota car promotions.
