Fly Floor Operations at Constellations

Jerwood DanceHouse, Ipswich | Friday 27 & Saturday 28 June 2014 Consistently delighting audiences throughout Europe with its magical dance theatre made especially for children and families, multi-award winning Aracaladanza makes a welcome return to the Jerwood DanceHouse following the success of 2012's Clouds.

This week we've been working with Aracaladanza Dance Company on part of the Belfast Children's Festival. Arcaladanza were here performing “Constellations”. This Spanish production features wonderful dance and terrific visuals inspired by the abstract art of Joan Miro.

As part of the show there was a requirement for a lighting bar to fly in and out during the performance. As the venue's flying system was deemed to be too noisy we were then contracted by Young at Art to install a temporary flybar and counterweight system to facilitate this silently.
